3 Paws Saloon Attic

My question is... I know you can post tags from your photobucket in here and you can download them too. What I was wondering is, is there a limit to the downloaded pictures? I know in MSN we have only so much space and when we use it all up we have to delete them. How does it work in here?

Hi Deb, I added the Connect four game for you.  The easiest way to create a grid is in a WYSIWYG editor.   Frontpage, and Dreamweaver are examples of this, primarily used for creating webpages, but their tables are easy to manipulate.  Writing the html code out for a grid can be rather tedious, and I do realize, not everyone has a WYSIWYG editor  just laying about.  (WYSIWYG means what you see is what you get.)  How ever there are several decent online ones:  ISDN*net offers a decent easy to use one online,  http://www.isdntek.com/tagbot/grids.htm , as it does all the html for you, and you can simply copy and paste the code into the html here.  (They also offer a Pretty Borders page that's real nice.)    Coffeecup offers one you can download onto your desk top.  
Grids are made with the use of tables, as you know.  An example in html would be:

<table border="1"> <tr> <td>row 1, cell 1</td> <td>row 1, cell 2</td></tr> <tr> <td>row 2, cell 1</td> <td>row 2, cell 2</td> </tr> </table>

 Easy to see why I recommend a WYSIWYG editor huh?   Another good one  that is fairly easy for the novice is http://www.reallgraphics.com/Editor/index.asp .   Hope that helps!

Hi Uni - look up at the top of the message board and you'll see a bar that says:    Attic -> 3 Paws Saloon Attic -> Messages ->.  Click the word "Attic" that takes you to the front page or welcome page of 3 Paws. On the left hand side you'll see a button that says CHAT (4th one down), click that and wadda-bing wadda-boom !  there you are!  It's like magic!

Good question...  if we put it under messages, it might get burried. I see 2 options: one is put it under posting games.  That would make it easily accessable, though you may gain some more players.
Or 2, I could place a link for it on the Dungeon's page.

If you go into the Dungeon..on the side it has Fun Tests and Snags...check them out and if it's ok great...if not..that's fine too.

Hey Trish, I see you've the hang of uploading a picture. Once you've done that scroll back up a bit  and you'll see:  Attached: b1.gif [remove] [insert].  Select insert, a little box will pop up asking if you want it inserted into the text area , say OK.  Then you'll have a full sized image in your post.   It just takes a little practice is all. 

I should warn you that for some reason this method kills off animation.    That's when I use copy and paste from photbucket. Hope this helps!

This may sound silly ...but...how do i put my pic, or a siggie over there<<<<<<<<<?????? 

Ok...now why is Trish's siggies/pics still showing up as attatchments?  
Make sure that "Use Advanced Editor"  is checked.
Select "Attach Image (s).
Upload an image from computer files.
Scroll back up  select 'insert'.   Click 'ok'.  That should do it.

You're right they are acting weird. I know activeboard is working on somethings, so perhaps it's a temporary glitch.  I'll have to ask the powers that be about it.

I wrote to support about it, and they assured me they were working on the problem.  I would give their explination to you, but you would ask me to explain it...and I'm just not THAT techy! lol

Funny you should ask that - lol - Didi and I have been talking about opening a siggie shop.   We've just been waiting for MSN to get over itself, I think.  Currently it's in the design stage.   Hopefully I'll have it up and running this week!

You would do that under "Who Wants One", BEAN'ette. Just make sure you call it to someone's attention.  Otherwise, I may think Didi is taking care of it and vice versa.
