 "It seems to only occur when other pictures are loading...is this a glitch?"  What do you mean by that?  If you are trying to do a batch upload ( more then 1 picture) then of course you would need for that operation to finish before attempting to post any of the pictures into a reply or topic. 
Another thought that occured to me is you have changed many things on your computer, so you might try a system restore.  Often an 'add on' may be unnoticed with an upgrading and that can cause some problems.  I.E. something may be blocking the uploader from accessing your files properly.   Try clearing cookies and temp files first, and rebooting. If that doesn't help, then try the system restore. 
No one else has reported any uploading problems ( although there is one over in photo albums that is being worked on) on the message boards, so I'm left to assume it's on your end...

I THINK what has happened is, if pictures from others are loading (say, something from da beanette or Didi is loading) I'm not able to upload one of my pictures...but if everything has finished loading I can upload a picture.

Well, this certainly has me stimied, Mus.    If this was a multiple user caused glitched, I'd think a few of us would experiance it.  I agree it must be frustrating, but feel it is more likely to be caused by something on your end.  
If you're still experiancing it, let me know and I'll go ask the powers that be, if they've any idea.

Panda, I need a bit more information: do you mean your password on the message board, OR your password that enables you to create albums, upload videos etc?

I haven't played the games in a while because hubby is home. But I went in tonight and noticed that my favorite game... scavenger hunt... is retired. Is there any way we can bring it back? That is...if others like it too.

Is anyone else getting a supposed 'warning from the web page that your computer maybe infected' and told they need to download this anti-virus ware?   Then quite suddenly what appears to be your 'computer' is shown to you while some kind of scan is running?  

I've been getting this, and I'm wondering if it is connected to the board here, or something in my computer.  First of all, if you ARE getting it, click the ad off. It will probably shut down the message board/your browser too, but that's ok.  It's a scam.  The 'infections' it says you have, don't even exist in all likely hood. 
Then let me know, as if it isn't just me, I need to report it to Activeboard.  They don't like it any more then we do.

Yes Val...I've been getting that happening to me too and it has only been in here.  I thought it was maybe my computer or something with our router and IP address, since no one else in here had mentioned it.  Rick changed our IP addresses about a week ago and so far I've been ok.  (knock on wood).

I too have been getting it. I was upset with hubby because I thought he did something to my new computer!! LOL! Guess it's not him. Ooops!
As for shutting it down, I keep trying to shut the window but i can't, i always need to shut down the computer.

Make sure you're hitting that little red X in the upper right corner and not their cancel button.   Even then you'll probably still get that page that's supposedly 'your computer' , it isn't - it's all one big lie to try to scare you into downloading their product. Which I suspect is packed with trojans.   But I just click the red x on that page too. 

Don't forget to report the incident to Activeboard  http://support.activeboard.com .

I went into Popcorn Theater and tried to watch Blind Side. But when I started it, it was some other movie. Good thing I've seen Blind Side before so I didn't sit there for too long watching something I didn't want to see. Just letting you know.

All I can do is repeat myself here - we all seem to be going through the same thing. Nobody in chat when we go.  Between school and work, my 'chat window' is very limited - by the time I do go in everyone else has either given up or gone to bed I guess.  So what can we do to remedy this?  All I can think of is to set a time and day(s) for us to meet.  What is best for you?

Odd question: Most of you know I'm working on a novel. Is there a way to put just the attachment (in this case novel_fight.doc) in a PM for a forum....or do I just print the whole thing and send it that way? It would be a long PM if the latter...

Basically, you're asking if you can upload a doc. into messages? Unfortunately, not here. Many forums no longer offer that ability due to people uploading virus laden articles. 
However, if you have it already published on the web, say over in Attic Musings, you could easily supply a link to it.

Actually I run into the C & P issue too...however I THINK mine has something to do with the clipboard...at least when I tried to C & P something that wasn't text, it said something about asking if I wanted to use the clipboardconfuseI guess I said no...because it won't let me C & P anything that's not text
