I got this idea online for quick lunch ideas idea.gif for busy people who want to save a bit of time and $$$ nod.gif

  1. Get your cooked noodles, soup stock (crumbled cubes, gel or powder), favourite ingredients (cooked meat, vegetables or tofu) and flavourings of choice (e.g. sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, coconut cream, spicy curry or laksa sauce etc).
  2. Put all the ingredients and flavourings into a sealable jar and close the lid.
  3. When it's mealtime, pour in a cup of boiling water into the jar with all the contents and stir the mixture.

I use leftovers from dinner or maybe the weekend roast/BBQ, beans, mixed vegetables, beansprouts or fresh greens. Top with fried shallots or sliced green scallions.

To be really organised, assemble different combinations and store them in the fridge. Then use one for each day. hungry.gif
