SERVES 6 to 8
4 German sausages, broiled or grilled
1 large onion, chopped
1 large potato, peeled and diced
1 cup water
2 17-oz cans cream corn
1 4 oz can diced green chiles
1 2 oz jar sliced pimentos, drained
2 cups half and half or milk <preference>
1 tsp garlic powder
ground pepper to taste
PREPERATIONS
a) Slice sausage and saute with the onion. Cook until onion is limp
b) Stir in potato and water
c) Cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer about 15 minutes or until potato is tender
d) Stir in the corn, chiles, pimento, half and half, and seasonings
e) Heat uncovered, until it steams. DO NOT BOIL.
f) Ladle into soup bowls and ENJOY!
