1 doz. even-sizes small onions (not as small as pickle onions)
1 large tablespoon sugar 2 eggs
2 cups vinegar salt & pepper
Method:
Clean and wash onions and boil in salted water till cooked.
Prepare dressing in the following way: Beat all ingredients together. Stir mixture constantly over low heat till it thickens. Strain onions, pour dressing over - can be served hot or cold.
