Beanie I am soooo sorry you had to put your cat Nemo to sleep, but I guess it was for the best.  Don't help much I know, pets are part of the family and its hard to say goodbye.  I am just glad you are getting better, and that you let us know.  You mean the world to me and I now can go to sleep and not worry about you.  But you are still in my prayers for your loss.

Hi Everyone!
I had an awesome day today! I actually went out! Whoooo Hoooo! There was a Volunteer's Appreciation Dinner tonight and everyone insisted that I go because I do so much volunteering. So I popped some pain meds and headed out. It was great. Mum even won a BBQ! LOL! Now I'm tired burt I just had to come in here before I go to bed. Tomorrow morning I'm off to see the plastic surgeon for my reassesment of my wound. I hope all is well. Night!

Hi Everyone!
I saw my surgeon today. He liked the way the wound looks. Says it's fine. I asked him about the pain and he said it will be sore for quite some time because it is so close to my tendon. He said it was amazing there wasn't any major damage. I'm so happy... no more IV antibiotics! Oh my gosh doing that is such a pain! I'm on oral antibiotics and that is a lot easier. Anyhoo... hope you all had a great day!

Well I will keep this going everyday till Beanie comes back to help me out.......lol

Been watching the NFL Draft all day all by myself......ok Son was on the phone with me, he can't believe he has a mom who loves football as much as I do.......since I have visited him earlier this month we have gotten closer and he brags to all his Army buddies how cool a mom I am.........because I love sports and especially Football and I can take players who are getting drafted where......he thinks that is just sooooo cool.........lol

Well I do think next year draft will be much more exciting because my fav QB's will be in the draft.........ok enuff Football talk.

Hello all.

Well hubby is gone, so here I am.  It looks like rain outside, am tired, hubby didn't leave till after 11 pm, couldn't go to sleep till after 4 am.  Had to get up at 7 am.  Wishing right now the little ones were "sleepy"!  LOL  How is it in your part of the world?

Thank you Val, and then I disappered again!  Sorry, but I am back for sure now!  I think?  LOL  It is nice outside here, last few days been in the 100's and I don't like that!  I sure was not one who wanted summer to get here.  It is only 70 out now so that is gooood!  Not much going on here, just trying to decide what I need to do today versus what I want to do!  LOL  Need vs Want, mmmmmmmmm!

Once in awhile life does get in the way, eh?  But here's hoping your abscence was for happy reasons.   Now if Beanette would just get her computer fixed! 
We haven't gotten the real hot temps yet. In fact our weather has been more like March with winds and cool temps, then like spring even. 

I'll work for a few hours today.  No idea what to expect...  Hopefully, since they didn't give us hours for extra coverage, it won't be too busy.   Sunday's are traditionally a slow day at work, but it IS Mother's day.
