1 c sugar 1/2 c crisco 2 c flour 3 tsp baking powder 1 c milk 2 cans red cherries 1 c sugar 1/2 c maragarine
Cream sugar and Crisco. Add the flour, baking powder, and milk. Put in greased 9 x 13 pan. Drain 2 cans red cherries, put them on the cake mixture. Add enough water to the juice to make 2 cups. Heat the the liquid and remaining ingrediants until it boils. Pour over cherries. Bake at 350 for 45 mins or until toothpick is clean.
