Well, it seems that our chat host, Sparkpea, has bit the dust.There was no warning, just here one day gone the next. Which means our chat buttons lead to a blank page. This leads us to several choices to make:
Do we build another chat on another server?
Do I create us an IM type chat, similiar to facebook, that would permit chatting between folks on site?
Do I build us an onsite chatroom ? This means it is hosted on our server.
DONT MATTER MUCH TO ME EITHER...DIDNT DO MUCH CHAT ANYWAYS....OR JOIN FACE BOOK STUFF TO KEEP IN TOUCH. IS ALL I CAN SAY....I DO MISS EVERYONE...JUST SEEMS WERE ALL DIEING OUT WITH THE CHATTING THING....U KNOW...NOTHING REALLY NEW ABOUT IT.JJ
Some of you may remember Daisymay. She's created a 3 Paws Saloon Group over in Facebook, especially for us. I'll look into the details of it, but it does have chat ability, with a few basic emoticons available. It also has space to make comments.
Before anyone gets confused, if we use that, will I close here? A resounding NO. Although I am considering 'condensing' 3 Paws abit. One of it's components is offering some abilities that were lacking before, and it would be nice to have almost everything on one server.
