Ingredients:
1 lb soup meat 1 skinned chopped tomato
1 large onion 6 cups water
6 cups milk 1 lb artichokes
1 level dessertspoon 1 large tablespoon butter
sugar
Method:
Prepare stock with soup meat, water, onion and tomato. Boil and mince artichokes. Place in a saucepan with strained stock, to which milk and butter have been added. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Boil till well blended (almost consistency of pea soup).
Serve.
